Job Description

We are recruiting a reliable and responsible Male Caregiver for a caregiving position in Umuahia, Abia State.

The successful candidate will provide personal care, companionship and day-to-day support to the client while maintaining a safe, clean and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care and assistance.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing and other routine activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor the client's general wellbeing and report concerns when necessary.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around the client's living area.
• Follow instructions from the client or supervising family member.
• Perform other reasonable caregiving duties as required.

Requirements

• Male candidate required.
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is an advantage.
• Must be patient, respectful, trustworthy and responsible.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be physically capable of assisting with routine caregiving duties.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the client's privacy.
• Willingness to reside at the provided accommodation in Umuahia, Abia State.
• Relevant caregiving, nursing or healthcare certification is an advantage.
