Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Construction Site Monitoring Officer to oversee daily construction activities in Ogbia, Bayelsa State. The successful candidate will monitor site operations, track project progress, ensure compliance with construction standards and report daily activities to management.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor daily construction activities and ensure work progresses according to project schedules.

- Supervise site operations and report any irregularities or delays.

- Ensure workers comply with safety regulations and construction guidelines.

- Monitor the use of construction materials and equipment.

- Maintain accurate site records and prepare daily progress reports.

- Identify and report construction defects, risks or operational challenges.

- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

- OND, HND or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management or a related field.

- Previous experience in construction site monitoring or supervision is an advantage.

- Good knowledge of construction procedures and workplace safety.

- Strong observation, reporting and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and monitor site activities effectively.

- Must be willing to work in Ogbia, Bayelsa State.

Salary

₦150,000 – ₦200,000 monthly.
