Brief Job Description

A reputable microfinance bank is seeking an experienced, target-driven, and results-oriented Sales Team Lead to lead its sales team, drive customer acquisition, promote financial products, and achieve business growth targets. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, marketing, and relationship management skills, with relevant experience in the banking or financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve set targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Identify and acquire new customers for the bank's financial products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Monitor individual and team sales performance and prepare regular reports.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
- Ensure effective promotion of loans, savings, and other banking products.
- Train and support team members to improve sales performance.
- Ensure compliance with the bank's sales policies and operational procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within a microfinance bank or financial institution.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a sales team.
- Strong knowledge of customer acquisition, financial product marketing, and sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Must not be above 42 years of age.

Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦300,000 monthly, depending on experience and qualifications.
