### Brief Job Description
A reputable microfinance bank is seeking an experienced and result-driven Credit & Recovery Team Lead to oversee its credit operations, manage loan recovery activities, supervise recovery officers, and ensure effective loan portfolio management. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership, negotiation, and risk management skills, with a proven ability to minimise loan defaults and improve recovery performance.

### Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the credit and loan recovery team.
- Monitor loan portfolios and ensure timely repayment.
- Develop and implement effective loan recovery strategies.
- Follow up on overdue loans and manage delinquent accounts.
- Assess credit risks and recommend appropriate lending decisions.
- Prepare regular credit and recovery performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with the bank's credit policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers.

### Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in credit management and loan recovery, preferably in a microfinance bank.
- Previous experience supervising or leading a credit/recovery team.
- Strong knowledge of loan appraisal, credit risk assessment, and debt recovery procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with targets and deliver measurable results.
- Must not be above 42 years of age.

**Salary:** ₦250,000 – ₦300,000 monthly, depending on experience and competence.
