Job Description
A reputable hospitality organization in GRA, Port Harcourt is seeking an experienced and highly organized Head of Steward to oversee and coordinate all stewarding operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, kitchen equipment care, and efficient stewarding services while supervising the stewarding team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s stewarding department.
- Supervise, coordinate, and assign duties to stewarding staff.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of kitchen areas, utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and equipment.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and food-safety practices.
- Monitor the proper use, storage, and maintenance of kitchen equipment and cleaning materials.
- Prepare staff duty rosters.
