Job Title: Head of Operation (Packaging Industry)

Job Summary
The Production and Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to meet sales targets, ensuring the availability of necessary resources, and maintaining the quality and efficiency of production processes. This role involves collaboration with various departments, adherence to quality and safety standards, and continuous improvement of operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning and Coordination:
·      Develop and execute production and maintenance schedules in alignment with the sales plan.
·      Ensure the availability of manpower, materials, tooling, machines, and equipment required to achieve production targets.
·      Coordinate with other departments to secure necessary support and ensure smooth workflow.
·      Adjust production plans to address client requests, urgent orders, or schedule changes.
Quality and Process Improvement:
·      Continuously improve the quality levels in the plant, encompassing machinery, personnel, production processes, hygiene, and safety.
·      Analyze production data and conduct statistical analysis to measure and improve performance levels.
·      Facilitate corrective actions in collaboration with the QA department to address customer complaints and internal issues.
·      Support the development of new product samples to meet market demands.
Standards and Compliance:
·      Ensure adherence to ISO standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and ISO 14001:2015.
·      Act as the Management Representative for health and safety, promoting adherence to safety and hygiene protocols on the shop floor.
·      Drive initiatives to meet sustainability goals set by the organization.
Resource Management:
·      Monitor and manage the flow of work-in-progress (WIP) according to the production plan.
·      Provide timely feedback and involve relevant personnel to address issues and improve service levels.
Health, Safety, and Sustainability:
·      Enforce safety and hygiene standards to ensure a secure working environment.
·      Advocate for sustainable practices within the production process and the plant’s operations.
Qualifications and Experience
·      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
·      Minimum of 15 years of experience in production planning and maintenance in the Plastic/Packaging Industry,
·      Strong understanding of production processes, resource planning, and quality management systems.
