Job Title: Construction Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Reports to: Project Manager

Job Summary:

Oversee construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality delivery. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project goals align with design intent.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction:
1. Review and understand project designs, specifications, and budgets.
2. Conduct site analyses and assessments.
3. Develop project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
4. Coordinate with local authorities and obtain necessary permits.

Construction:
1. Manage and supervise construction teams.
2. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
3. Coordinate material procurement and logistics.
4. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.

Project Management:
1. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks.
2. Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
3. Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
4. Resolve conflicts and disputes.

Design and Architecture:
1. Interpret and implement architectural designs.
2. Ensure design intent and quality standards.
3. Collaborate with architects and engineers.
4. Develop and implement design changes.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, building Construction Management, or related field.
2. 5+ years of construction management and architectural/building technology experience.
3. Professional certifications (LEED AP, PMP, etc.).
4. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in construction software (Autodesk, Procore, etc.).

Physical Requirements:
1. Frequent site visits and inspections.
2. Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
3. Candidate must reside close and be able to commute to work around Ikoyi, V.I and Lekki area

Salary and Benefits:
N200,000 to N300,000 depending on experience level
